Intergraph® Partners with Coastal International Security to Support NASA Protective Services Contract

Contract to support NASA agency-wide physical and IT security efforts

HUNTSVILLE, Ala., June 05, 2008 – Intergraph will provide Information Technology/Information Assurance (IT/IA) and cyber services, as well as its integrated security solutions to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in support of the agency's consolidated protective services contract. NASA will work with Intergraph as part of a team led by Coastal International Security, Inc. (Coastal), a wholly owned subsidiary of Akal Security, Inc.(Akal).

The contract allows for the implementation of agency-wide fire and security services, emergency management, export control, protective services information assurance/technology security and protective services training at 14 locations throughout the United States.

Intergraph will also provide continuous process improvement in all areas of this contract to reduce ongoing operational and maintenance cost.  In addition, Intergraph will provide support for all electronic security systems and will implement a Center of Excellence around its integrated security product suite and consulting services.

The NASA protective services contract is an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract with an ordering period of five years and a maximum value of $650 million. Additionally, the contract contains five one-year ordering options, each with a not-to-exceed value of $130 million. The contract also includes an option to increase the maximum value by 20 percent.
